Chris Garner is a solo artist whose music blends pop-punk hooks, metalcore intensity, hip-hop rhythm, and nu-metal edges. He began making music at 19 with a computer microphone and free Audacity software.
After losing unfinished album files following years of paying for studio time shift by shift, Garner used the setback as motivation. His song “Don’t Let Me Drown” later reached No. 7 on a radio Top 10.
He works with producer Jeff Parker at Ember & Oak Studios in North Alabama. His writing process is emotion-first: melody and feeling come before genre or formula.
“Next to Me,” released August 14, 2026, focuses on a relationship that remains emotionally unresolved and the difficulty of letting go. Garner describes his music as a way to release emotions and create connection from real experiences.
His next announced release is “I’ll Be Fine,” expected in November 2026.
